Arthur lost his life on Lilliput Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid.
His siblings Ruth, Margaret and Elizabeth also lost their lives in this incident. Their neighbour Sarah and her son Cecil who had taken shelter with them were also killed.
He was the son of John and Martha Campbell and is buried in Carnmoney Cemetery.
