Bridget was presumed dead as a ‘consequence of war operations’ at an inquest held at Belfast City Hall on 12 June 1941.
She was killed when a parachute mine struck the spire of Trinity Street Church during the Easter Tuesday Raid.
Her husband Joseph and children Mary, Eileen, James and Joseph were also killed.
Bridget has no known grave.
