Known as Danny, he was presumed dead as a ‘consequence of war operations’ at an inquest held at Belfast City Hall 19 June 1941.
He was killed when a parachute mine landed on Veryan Gardens during the Easter Tuesday Raid.
His parents Jean and Daniel, aunt Mary and cousins Mary and Susan were also killed in the same incident.
