Dennis was killed when a wall of York Street Spinning Mill collapsed onto Sussex Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid.

His parents Charles and Elizabeth and uncle Francis were also killed.

His body was taken to St George’s Market where he was identified by his grandmother.

Dennis is buried in the mass grave at Belfast City Cemetery.
