Hessie lost her life when a parachute mine landed on Barbour Street.
Her mother Annie, sisters Annie, Evelyn and Eva, brother James, daughter Hazel, aunt Agnes, and nieces Maureen and Anne also lost their lives.
Three others were also killed in the blast.
Hessie is buried in Carnmoney Public Cemetery with her family.
