Known as Jane, Jeannie or Jinnie, she was killed when a parachute mine landed on the road outside her house during the Eater Tuesday Raid. Her husband James, son William, daughter Elizabeth and two policemen in the RUC barracks next door also lost their lives as result of the blast.
Jeannie is buried in Connor New Cemetery along with her family.
