Joseph was killed when a parachute mine struck the spire of Trinity Street Church during the Easter Tuesday Raid.
His wife Bridget and children Mary, Eileen, James and Joseph were also killed.
Joseph’s body was taken to St George’s Market where he was identified by his brother.
He is buried in Milltown Cemetery with his children
