Martha was killed during the Easter Tuesday Raid at No. 70 Disraeli Street. Her aunt Hannah and three members of the McDonald family and their lodger were killed in the same incident.
Her body was taken to St George’s Market where she was identified by her brother. Martha is buried in Belfast City Cemetery with her aunt.
