Mary was presumed dead as a ‘consequence of war operations’ at an inquest held at Belfast City Hall on 12 June 1941.
She lost her life on Unity Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid when a parachute mine struck the spire of Trinity Street Church.
Four other members of her family were killed along with family friend Mary and Mary’s niece, Susan.
