Mary was presumed dead as a ‘consequence of war operations’ at an inquest held at Belfast City Hall on 12 June 1941.
She lost her life at the home of the Donnelly family on Unity Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid when a parachute mine struck the spire of Trinity Street Church.
Her niece Susan and five members of the Donnelly family were also killed.
