Mary Jane lost her life at her home on Burke Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid. Her son Henry, daughter in law, Georgina and grandaughter also Georgina also lost their lives.
Her body was taken to St George’s Market where she was identified by her grandson.
Mary Jane is buried in Belfast City Cemetery with her family.
