Raymond Crothers was presumed dead 'as a consequence of war operations' at an inquest at Belfast City Hall on 19 June 1941. He was killed on Eglinton Street during the Fire Raid.
At least two other civilians and 13 members of 173 Company, Pioneer Corps were killed in this incident.
Raymond is buried at Belfast City Cemetery.
