Trevor was injured during the Easter Tuesday Raid when a shelter on Atlantic Avenue received a direct hit. At least seven other people were killed in this incident, including his father, William.
Trevor succumbed to his wounds at the Royal Victoria Hospital on 4 September 1941. He is buried in Mallusk Cemetery.
