William lost his life during the Easter Tuesday Raid at 57 Eastland Street. His father William, aunt Annie and cousin David were also killed in this incident.
His body was taken to St George's Market where he was identified by his uncle.
He is buried in Belfast City Cemetery with his father, aunt and cousin.
William was the youngest victim of the Belfast Blitz.
