Join us on Saturday 3 May 2025 from 12pm-4pm as we mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day with special themed activities.

Drop in at 1pm or 3pm to sit down and listen to a short storytelling session on how people celebrated VE Day in 1945 with objects from our ‘Victory’ suitcase.

Have a go at crafting your own paper hats and decorations, and create your own V for Victory badge to commemorate the end of the Second World War in Europe.

Enjoy listening to some 1940s songs that partygoers sang in street celebrations 80 years ago, and put your Allied flag knowledge to the test with our fun flag games.

There’s something for all ages to enjoy!
